Evening tour by candlelight
Tours in the early evening are a special experience. When dimmed crystal chandeliers start sparkling and hundreds of candles spread a warm light, the Middle Ages and Baroque come to life again within the 800-year old walls. The 12th century Romanesque cloister is only lit by 400 tealights.
The „Schuola Cantorum Berchtesgadensis“ intones Gregorian chanting. The flute ensemble „Flauto Dolce“ plays in historical costums, and a harp player awaits its guests in the „Grand Dining Hall“.
The festively lit medieval hall of the castle offers the right ambience with drinks and cakes, whilst the evening draws to a close.
